A new beginning

HELLO.

Im currently sitting at TTSH’s Starbucks, with my lappie and no drink. The queue is annoyingly long and has been for the past 2hrs. Feeling really thirsty but im very comfy here. Anyway, this week must be called The Jodi Week.  I havent seen her for a year, and so when she asked me out for brunch on Tues i agreed.

We went to Astons at Cathay, and caught up with each other about stuffs. Well you can say, she totally changed me in one day. We went to this splendid little shop which sells pretty things like listographies and notebooks and so much more. I got charmed and i started thinking about a job there ‘cos it only requires 10hrs, 1 weekday and 1 weekend. Me, getting a job! Me, the spoilt cab lover hahaha. (No, i have not officially applied yet.)

While browsing thru the items, we were talking abt the holidays and it turned out that we were looking to getaway from SG. Only because we couldnt find company so we didnt. A real big LOL right. Conincidence! So we are now looking for a holiday package to Gentings this coming weekend. Yeah, last week of holidays. Her enthusiam is so infectious, it passed on to me and wouldnt get out haha. Of course, last min travel planning is kinda hard so even if we can’t go, we’ll go to a better place this Dec. :)

Im feeling a slight pain in the shoulders right now, because Jodi asked me out again to sun tan. Yeah, me sun tanning. Weird or what! Hahah. Im so fair, no sun can bring me down man. I only got a lil sunburnt and some redness around my arms which i think may unleash some pain tonight heh heh.

(Aren’t i doing things which i usually don’t do? Jodi, if you see this its all your faulttttttt HAHA.)

Im starting to feel wobbly. Had no food yet because im meeting my mom, cousins, aunt and uncle for dindin at Nihon Mura. Yes, BUFFETTTTTTTT. I think. Hahahaha.

Im in love with Mary Janes right now.

So im selling them! :) Pretty surprised i’ve alrd got a few orders in 3 days. Cheap okay, one for $11 with meetups. Discounts for family and friends! Hahaha. Wth! Its only 6.14pm. I’ve been crapping so much but its not 7 yet. Gonna replay Plants Vs. Zombies!

Not tired and very awake.

Today, i forgot something called PP. Went to Northpoint with family to watch UP. I thought it didn’t really deserve the 5 stars, 8days gave. I got bored in the middle of the show. Only part i liked very very much was the love story between Carl and Ellie. So sweeeeeeeeeeet! ((: I didn’t manage to shop at all for myself. Nothing caught my fancy. Tried out the new Jap themed place, and it was not bad! Affordable as well. Okay i should not eat so much Jap food.. Korean next? Haha!

Anyway i was reading loads of blogs just now. Strangers, friends. I really like the way some ppl write! So adult-ish and mature, i like! As compared to mine, i really lack so much. Singlish and everything, huhu. AND OH YA. My lappie is showing symptoms of having the same fate as my prev one! :(  It actually came to life during my last UT. Just like my old lappy. I am wishing like hell that i can still keep it for another few more years. I haven’t even finish the payment for this one la.. *sobs*

Looking forward to this week. Finally getting my butt out of the house!

Met these ppl early ytd before the UT to cram last min stuff into our heads.

Aft the test, i rushed down to PS to watch The Proposal with my aunt. Its very, very nice! Haha! Besides the small doses of nudity too heh. My mom came to join us for dindin at Ichiban Sushi. Finally satisfied my sushi cravings (now it’s korean food!), and i think i love tuna more now. :D Altho the meal was to celebrate the start of my holidays, the whole convo was actually about the k-pop and j-pop industry man haha! My aunt likes Arashi and my mom DBSK, and they were talking about their respectives companies.. I think i focused more on food and my holidays HAHA. My family is cool la. My mom was actually the one who introduced me to SJ can! Hahahah. But i think i have slightly deviated a little now. Whoops haha.

My mom asked me to either go grab a job or go take up classes or something. I think i’ll think about it ltr. Its only 10.19am and im awake! Its all the UT’s fault, haha! I hope it doesn’t becomes a habit.

Slacked in ECD class for the first time, cabbed to CWP to get Macs for class(shaker fries!! :D), understood more about OP in workshop and laughed like hell with my laughing partners.

Went to watch Transformers 2 after school today with Baoyi, Jo, Luvy, Suet and Daniel at AMK Hub. And ooooh, it was nice hahaha. Although i didn’t catch the first movie, it was still understandable. Now i should go watch the first one HAHA. This weekend must be spent at home this week. Must must must. Lack sleep and lack money lols! Maybe i am too relaxed? Haven’t start on the PP and my CE points are still stuck at a pathetic 2. Just when i feel the interest to go for talks, it has all been postponed because of H1N1. THANKS ALOT. 34 cases in RP now eh?

When i got back home just now, before i could even put down my bag… My mom took it away from me, handed me my towel and PJ’s and then escorted me to the bathroom to bathe. LOL. Preventive measures. When i sneeze, they’ll prolly gonna hand me a mask hahaha. Aw man, when is this gonna end.

I shall think as i sleep.

HELLO. I just got home.

Went to Vivo to meet Joanna and her mom, and my mom after school. Was super early so i hung out at Page One. Made me itch with the urge to buy more reads haha. Didn’t step in there before and it was like a library, with seats and a view of the sea. So awesome! When they all arrived, we ate at Thai Express before we went to SingTel. Ee Ee wanted to get a new phone, so she got the same as my mom’s. Sisters! Hahaha. Jo and i shopped and looked around after that. Then we ended our day at Coffee Bean.

Now, im watching the Choir Camp vids and cringing everytime i see myself. Lol!

So tired.  And H1N1’s hitting RP. Just a matter of time, yes?

Happy Daddy’s Day!

Cousins at my house.

Went to the library earlier with my sisters, and then bought my dad a gift. My Cotton On shoes are worn out already, so we went to get new ones. :D Met the cousins then brought them home. We really need to buy poker and UNO cards to amuse ourselves. (Next time, promise!) Played Bratz Monopoly instead. LOL.

And i forgot to pack my room before they came, so it looked like this.

The hi-bye people

Daddy took leave, so family day is from Tues to Thurs. HAHA! Tues, we went to Downtown East to karaoke, then today we went shopping.

And i ended up with 2 membership cards hahaha.

Happy Mama’s Day! (:

Went to collect this on saturday from Suet who has a online bakery. My mom loved it! Hahaha. Ordered in sushi today to celebrate. Dont wanna go out ‘cos its super crowded everywhere. Just as well, everybody’s lazy too haha.

This weekend passed too quickly. I hope i dont skip school tmr heh heh. Tmr should be a holiday anyway…

Top of the world

Its already the last week of the holidays- 3mths flew past just like that. I think i am looking forward to school next week. Fresh start and all. Also the early dismissal is a plus too hahaha. Thank goodness really. Hopefully i can clear my CE points asap, so i dont have to worry about it. Am currently staying over at my gran’s for a good rest. Only going out on Friday for practice this week. Their SYF is next Thurs. Bad timing for me. Don’t even know if  i can make it. But one step at a time la haha.

And, i really wanna watch 17 Again! I think 17 is a really good age. Young enough to get away with some stuff, but still old enough to do some things… Maybe i should watch it tmr when it comes out. :D

Back from hiatus! :D

I had a really great day yesterday! (: I woke up with a headache in the morning, but then i felt all better when i saw those text and FB msgs. :D Thankyou so much! It really made my day haha.

I went to choir first, and they got me a board with handwritten msges haha!

And i received a few presents too.  *Takes a deep breath* Thankyou Zhiting, Marissa, Layling, Ruiting, JingNing, Sihui, Wendy, Lifang, Ivy and Aurea! :D Im really so touched at this point. Then we got back to school from VCH where they were having practice. I was wondering why there was meeting when i didnt receive any msg about it. I went to the canteen and i got presented with a cake and a happy birthday song haha! Although the harmonisation was a little off (LOLS), i really appreciate it! :D I love the comm and Jess Gan to bits okay haha. Now that i think back, i spent my last 2 birthdays with them as well lols!

Afterwards i rushed home to meet Maira to pass her the jacket. Thank god she loved it haha! Then i went to meet Jiaying at her bus stop and Zumei at the vege store. :D

During the hiatus, i went with the choir to their many outings like Meet the Maestro concert. Then i went out with Brother for lunch and to Haji Lane to see see lols! But YL didnt come, and it felt like something was missing haha. Then i met up with Fionn and Maira and went to choir together! What a rare occasion haha. Finally saw Fionna! :D I think i talked non-stop ‘cos i was updating her about stuff.

And i went to HK and back!

It was awesome there. Especially the weather. I dont think anybody sweats there hahaha.

And then i updated GFL with Jo. (:

The day we took photos for this we went to the airport afterwards with the family and had a wonderful dinner. Actually the airport is quite a gd place to hang out at haha. :D

School’s reopening pretty soon. Half dread and half looking forward to it… And im finally gonna meet up with rinko!

Lucky

Im finally at home! On thursday, a trip to Jo’s house ended in a sleepover for 2 days haha. It was so productive for me. I finally got round to selling my unwanted stuff, read finished a book, watched HSM 3. I even woke up at 10 each day haha! My stayover ended today when we drove to my house for Ah Gong’s pre-birthday celebration. I can’t believe that in the 2 days that i’ve been gone, insects are taking over my home. Mozzies, lizards under the sofa and kitchen, flying cockroaches attack at my relatives when they were going back. Yuck.

Anyway, this is the product of my stay.

Jo and i put alot of effort in it. The purpose of opening it wasn’t to run a business selling clothes. It was because we bought a lot of clothes on impulse and we didnt even wear them. Thankfully we had a good headstart for we already sold 2 pieces. :D

And i really need to go check soompi. SJ’s having their major milestone!

When it comes full circle

I have a super long holiday. But i hope i will not waste it. Besides choir practices, im setting more time aside for my grandparents. (: I miss them like crazyyyyyy. I need to spend more time with them before school starts. My Ah Ma was so excited when i told her i was gonna stayover tmr haha! She even got my uncle to call me to ask what time i was coming over. ♥ Am also going to visit my maternal grandparents this week. My grandma said she will cook for me. :D

Happy Friday the 13th! :D

I spent the day bonding with my youngest sister. We are like 2 peas in a pod so we fight alot like twice everyday? Still i love her k, haha!

Mommy took the day off  ‘cos Sanah went back to Indo for a short trip home. Went to collect our goody bags for a contest we won. Okay, abit kiasu lah. First come first served basis, just need to sms in. & so predictably we won ‘cos we sms-ed at  midnight lols! Then we went to HGM for lunch @ CafeCartel. Eh, don’t know whether its because of the recession or what but as a student you get food really cheap. I only spent 15bucks for a table full of stuff haha.

And then we went to pick up my sister. Is every primary sch student’s bag filled with bombs? Its super heavy! My left shoulders were aching all the way to Kovan. I don’t even rmb bringing so much books to school. Only Eng, Maths, Chi & Sci TBs. Everyday. Don’t even need to see the timetable. Anyway, we really bonded when our mom’s friend came to meet her. We were supposed to go home ourselves after buying food for our sister.

We went to the music store to look at movies on sale. We really love watching movies tgt during weekends. The previous one was Narnia haha! (love the younger brother!) So we picked out Hairspray, The Dark Is Rising & The Holiday. Just before we bought the food, we stopped by a store with many plastic stuff & toys. I really gt excited when i saw those old card games!  So i bought them HAHA. Snap, Donkey, Happy Family…

My sister made me laugh out loud @ Yoshinoya. She looked so cute ordering the takeaway. Haha! And thank goodness she was the one to order anyway, i would have bought something different which will make my middle sister mad lols! On the way back, we talked about V-Day. Even though today wasnt’ the day yet, many students were holding flowers, chocolates & manymany more. She said that she couldnt wait to see what our sister got. Then i almost choked when she said i didnt look like the sort of person who would receive anything.

… She wouldnt believe me when i said i did received some before.  *shakes head*

Anyway, somehow we made it through the journey amicably. She even sang songs for me to listen too(no prizes for guessing what CCA she’s in). Hahaha. Well, I guess we should do this more often.
