Council BBQ! :D

Its’ the holidays already! (: Time flies when you’re not looking at it.

COUNTDOWN:

5 MONTHS

On the last day of school, there was a Council BBQ at Harmony Park in Hougang. I met Marilyn, Hui Ching and Yenling at the new Ang Mo Kio Hub at 2. We had to shop for the food and stuff needed.

It was super fun okay! :D

We got a trolley, and started getting the food. It seems that we do not have enough $$$ for tidbits. We were all complaining about the low budget and Marilyn was kinda stressed about it. We didnt even have $$ to get the prawns and sotongs. So, we heck it and paid at the cashiers. We wanna grab some food before Mr. Farid came to fetch us.

We got donuts, fried mushrooms and chickens and 2 sugarcane drinks. Our trolley was so cute; it became our car. Lols! We pushed it everywhere and put the food in. There wasn’t any place to eat so we sat on the floor, like a picnic! :D

The donuts were really adorable. I was spoilt for choice at the stall. Can you believe it, there’s a honeydew flavoured donut? Goodness. Huiching decided that i would like to eat the donut that is called Pink Panther. She read my mind! I didnt want it because it was pink; but rather because it sounds cliche. Haha! So many misunderstandings. Let me clear one.

Pink is not my favourite colour. My handphone and earpiece is pink because, well, its the nicest colour in the series. (:

Then, we waited at the taxi stand for him. He was, as usual, very late. We loaded the groceries and piled into his car. It became hectic. We running late by then. We went to Ang Mo to get the seasonings to marinade. The cashier recognize Yenling from TV. Lols! We, including Mr.F, ran back to the car. It was a mad rush. Everyone got into the car, and Yenling was about to when Mr.F started to drive away. It was damn funny! She hasnt got into the car yet and he drove off after hearing a bang. We coudnt stop laughing when she got back in.

We drove to Bowen to get the charcoals, and went Sheng Shiong next. Bought prawns, other stuff, courtesy of the teacher with us. When we ran back to the car, Marilyn realised she forgot the BBQ keys. Drove down to her house to get it. By this time, we were very tired already. Finally, got down to the place and started barbequeing. Had fun la, met juniors whom i’ve never met before. (:

Took a Sec 4s only picture twice, and realised that Mr.F took one close-up photo of Yenling. Lols! He wants to give her a surprise during Farewell.

I wonder what. :P
